ChoiceI make choices all the time in life. I depend on them, whether I choose to be something good or not is my choice to make the right one and not regret it in the future. For example in the past week I have made a couple of choices that I know it was nothing good for my education. I had decided to stay home sleeping lately and I know it wasn't a good decision. Now I have a lot of work to make up in all my classes and it wasn't a good choice that I had made. I am nothing happy with the decision I made so now I have to face the consequences. In The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost choice is important. This man had a option to take two roads. He decided to take the second road because the first road had already been taken by someone else and that person had already created a path so he wanted to make his own path. He determined his choice on the second road because "It was grassy and wanted to make his own wear."In the last stanza last line, he says "and that has made all the difference" what I think he means by that is that he feels like he made the right choice in choosing the second path because he feels good that he didn't go through a path that has been already taken by someone else.What I think the dilemma that the poet is facing, that he feels so good about making his own path he doubted if he would ever go back, which he can't, cause once he chose that decision there's no way for him to go back.I think the title is named "the road not taken", rather then "the road taken" because there was two roads and he chose to take one or the other, he didn't take the road that was already taken instead he made his own path. The poet was really happy with the choice he mad I know he won't regret it. Another example of choice is in the short story "Dead End" by Rudolfo Anaya. Choice is also important in this story because there is this main character who's going through some big this in her teenage life, her mother died and now she is responsible for her little brother and sister. her dad is always working so he has no time for his kids so he give maria enough money everyday so she can be able to give them money for school. Maria has this big crush in school and she is a really shy person on talking to boys so she has her friends help her out a little. Her friends ends up turning her into a little to much of a hoochie, which caught frankie attention. While time was passing by she knew that she was pretty dip down and she didn't have to dress like a hoochie to impress anybody. Frankie noticed that she was different, that she wasn't like the other girls and that's what he really liked about her, she was smart and was into her school. That was he choice she choose to stay inn school and not hang out everyday outside with the other girl she was'nt a follower.
